So, I was craving for days to eat Ilocos Empanada :( While on my way home from work I saw this Fariñas Ilocos Empanada along Pasig Blvd.(Pineda) in front of Elements Bldg. beside Seaoil gas station.

was very famous at Ilocos  so I'm very thrilled to try it out!

GUESS WHERE ARE WE GOING??? 

Of course! me and my friends decided to try it out after how many days of craving. Yay! Finally!

The restaurant is small but the ambiance is good! It was airconditioned as well. There's also a self service section on the side for the suka ilocos, ketchup, pepper, spoon and fork.

They are also selling vinegar from ilocos (spicy and not spicy), banana chips and kamote chips.

As you can see on the left corner. You can watch how they are making the empanada. They are wearing hair nets and plastic gloves for sanitary purposes.

Special Empanada with Cheese!

I definitely fell in love with this empanada. The crunchiness, the savory taste of the longganisa, egg, vegetable and cheese + sukang ilocos was really something! Would never get tired eating this <3

We also ordered special miki. This one is kinda different from the ilocos special miki. Maybe because the miki noodles from ilocos is hand made and thinner than the noodles used here. The soup texture is also thicker than what i've had at Ilocos. 

Still, this special miki is not a disappointment and is still appetizing! Loved putting a lot of powdered pepper in it. :)

I ordered Bagis which means intestines. I was kinda disappointed on this menu. The serving was small with only sliced tomatoes and onions and I think it's price (115 php) is not worth it. 

Bagnet! we also love this because this one is also one of the best seller. Me and two of my friends have braces so we had a very hard time eating this. :(

Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience here at Fariñas Ilocos Empanada . The lady who is taking our orders is very kind and very accomodating. :)

I ordered 3 ultimated empanada for take out :) Just can't get enough of it!

Mama Chit's burger Marikina (Hannah's tummy)

Me and my friends went to Mama Chit's Coffee House located at San Roque, Marikina. 

We expected the place to be jam-packed but to our joy it wasn't. YAY! <3 The place has a 'bahay-vibe' which is cool and it also has some old stuff in it. The place is like a small museum.

We are fascinated with all the classic memorabilias that we didn't got bored waiting for our order.

We ordered Mama Chit's Cheeseburger (100php)Nachos Salad (180php) and Strawberry shake. 

The burger is not too greasy and the patty is very juicy it complemented well with the veggies inside it you'll want to order for more! It doesn't have an 'umay' feeling too.

The Nachos Salad was unexpected tho. This is my first time trying nachos with some veggies and fruits in it.

 When I hear nachos the first thing that will come into my mind is the nachos with the cheeeesseeeee and beef.

I stereotyped all the nachos i didn't noticed the 'salad' on the Nachos Salad. Good thing, this wasn't a disappointment :)

We just had one negative comment. 

We didn't see the staff smiled at us when we came or while she's taking our orders. 

Anyways, we enjoyed our Mama Chit's Burger experience :)Looking forward on trying the other burgers <3
